Shipping policy
Thank you for shopping with Backstay. We take pride in packing and shipping your logbooks with care. Below is our full shipping policy, including processing times, shipping methods, and what happens if something goes wrong in transit.
Processing Times
Orders are typically processed within 1–3 business days. If you have a trip coming up, please get in touch, we will try to ship even faster.
During holidays, new product releases, or high-volume periods, processing may take a little longer.
You will receive an email confirmation with tracking information once your order has shipped.
Shipping Methods & Rates
We ship from Washington State using trusted carriers such as USPS and UPS.
Shipping options and rates are calculated at checkout based on:
- destination
- order weight
- chosen service level
Domestic economy shipping is free on orders over $50.
Backstay does not guarantee delivery dates. Once your order is handed over to the carrier, the transit time is entirely controlled by them.
Domestic Shipping (USA)
Most domestic orders arrive within 3–7 business days after shipment. Rural or remote destinations may take longer.
International Shipping
International delivery times vary by destination and customs processing.
Customers are responsible for any customs fees, import duties, or taxes.
We cannot mark packages as “gift” or falsify customs forms.
Lost, Stolen, or Delayed Packages
Once your order has been accepted by the shipping carrier, ownership and risk of loss transfer to you.
Backstay is not responsible for:
- packages lost in transit
- delayed deliveries
- packages marked “delivered” but not received
- stolen packages
- damage caused by the carrier
However — we always try to help out.
If something goes wrong, please email us at ahoy@backstay.ink with your order number. We will do our best to assist you in locating the package.
Incorrect Addresses
Please make sure your shipping address is correct at checkout.
If an order is returned to us due to an incorrect or undeliverable address, reshipping fees will apply.
